The Purpose of this organization shall be to provide a friendly atmosphere which supports the morale and well-being of Coast Guard families and to engage in such charitable and social activities as the members deem proper. This is a non-federal entity. This non-federal entity is neither part of, nor endorsed by, the Department of Homeland Security or the United States Coast Guard, and it has no governmental status.
